Tournoi International du Tennis Club de la Troësne 2008, win by Marlou and Cameron...Marlou et Cameron s’imposent...
Les finales de la 7ème édition du tournoi International du Tennis Club de
la Troësne, disputées devant un public nombreux, n’ont pas été aussi serrées que l’on pouvait s’y attendre.
Chez les garçons, le Picard Antoine WINIESKI, trop crispé, manquait complètement son entame de match et concédait le premier set. Le second fut plus accroché mais c’est à nouveau Cameron SILVESTRE, le joueur des Pays de Loire, qui maîtrisait mieux ses nerfs dans les moments importants pour finalement l’emporter 6/3 6/4.

La finale filles fut encore plus rapide. Dès le début de la partie,
la Néerlandaise Marlou KLUIVING développait un jeu offensif qui ne permit jamais à
la Bretonne Laure-Anne
JOSSO de s’organiser et d’évoluer au même niveau que
la veille. Déjà titrée en double avec sa compatriote Michelle BLIEK, Marlou réalise donc le doublé !
Lors de la remise des prix, les personnalités départementales et régionales ont toutes souligné la qualité de l’organisation et félicité
Marc GINFRAY et son équipe de bénévoles.
Les « sweats bleus », organisateurs bénévoles du tournoi, félicitent les lauréats de l’édition 2008
et attendent déjà avec impatience la 8ème édition du tournoi en février 2009 !

Izod Lacoste was a brand name licensed by Lacoste to Izod from 1952-1993...Izod Lacoste was a brand name licensed by Lacoste to Izod from 1952-1993. In 1953, René Lacoste, the creator of the Lacoste polo shirt, teamed up with David Crystal, who at the time owned both Haymaker and Izod to manufacture and distribute Lacoste polo shirts. The name was and still is used by people who grew up wearing Izod Lacoste and who therefore still use the name to refer to both Izod and Lacoste.
The license ended in 1993 over quality control concerns and because Izod wanted to design shirts in France and make them in Asia, while Lacoste wanted to design and manufacture them in France. The Lacoste name was reintroduced in 1996, minus Izod. However the Lacoste company does now what Izod wanted to do in the 1980s, they design in France and import from other countries.
